From link to posted in three steps

No editing timeline to learn. Most projects are ready in a few minutes.

  1. 1

    Paste a link

Any public YouTube video, or upload a file up to 100 MB. Podcasts, interviews, tutorials and vlogs work best.

  2. 2

    Get your best moments

nine16 reads the transcript, picks moments that make sense without the rest of the video, and scores each one.

  3. 3

    Download and post

Clips come back cut, framed and captioned, with a title, description and hashtags to paste.

Sized for every feed

Choose a format per project. Captions are placed clear of the buttons and text each app lays over your video.

Follow
Whole frame

Follows the action

nine16 watches every clip and moves the frame with the action: the ball and the goal in sport, whoever is talking in a podcast. When the action is too wide to crop, it shows the whole shot instead.

What you get with every clip

  • 94

    A virality score

Hook, flow, value and trend, each scored out of 100 with a one-line reason.

  • word by word

    Captions that follow the voice

Each word lights up as it's spoken. Switch them off for any project.

  • 06:01 → 06:42

Starts and ends on a full thought

Cuts land on sentence ends and pauses, never halfway through a word.

  • 9:16 · Auto framing

    Never misses the moment

The frame follows the ball, the shot and the speaker, and every clip runs to its payoff: the goal, the punchline, the result.

    Post text included

A title, a short description and hashtags written for that clip, ready to copy.

  • Re-cut · free

    Adjust any cut

Move the start or end by a few seconds and re-render. Re-cuts never use credits.

Post the strongest clip first

Every project comes back ranked. The scores are a guide, not a guarantee, but they make choosing your first post easy.

  • Hook first three seconds

Pay for clips, not minutes

1 credit makes 1 finished clip. Plans give you fresh credits every month, top-ups never expire, and if a clip fails to render its credit comes straight back.

Questions

What counts as a clip?

Each finished video file you get back uses 1 credit. Re-cutting a clip you already have is free.

Do credits expire?

Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing month, and unused ones don't carry over. Your 10 welcome credits and any top-ups never expire. Plan credits are always used first.

What happens when my free clips run out?

You'll be asked to choose a plan or buy a pack before making more clips. Your projects and finished clips stay in your account either way.

What if nine16 finds fewer clips than I asked for?

You only pay for clips you receive. Credits are held when a project starts, and any that don't become clips go back to your balance automatically.

Which videos work best?

Talking videos with clear speech: podcasts, interviews, tutorials and vlogs. YouTube links use the video's captions to pick moments. Uploaded files are split on natural pauses.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from Billing in your dashboard. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for, and your top-up credits stay in your account.

Do I need the rights to the video?

Yes. Only clip videos you own or have permission to use and repost.
